the show "Jay Leno's Garage," which had been airing since 2015, will be canceled by the network. This ends the former "Tonight Show" host's 30-year career on an NBC network, according to multiple reports.


The reality show, which features Leno's classic car collection and includes interviews with celebrity guests, was canceled after a major programming shift at CNBC, according to a report by The Hollywood Reporter.


The network reportedly plans to focus on reruns of other reality shows such as "Shark Tank" and "Undercover Boss" in prime time, according to the media report.


There was no mention of the cancelation on the show's social media accounts.


Leno has been a familiar face on NBC networks for 30 years. in 1992, he took over "The Tonight Show," which he hosted until 2009 before hosting it again from 2010 to 2014.


News of the termination comes after a motorcycle accident involving Leno on Tuesday, Jan. 17. The comedian suffered a broken collarbone, two broken ribs and two broken kneecaps in the accident.


Leno was also the subject of other, less pleasant news. For example, he was the focus of media attention when he suffered severe burns in a garage fire on Saturday, November 12.


After a week in hospital, he was released on Monday, November 21.


A native of New Rochelle in Westchester County, Leno grew up in the Boston area, in Andover, Massachusetts, where he graduated from Andover High School.
